For the past few weeks I've just been hella addicted to L4D so that dominates the ol free time. Sometimes on Team Fortress 2.
Trying to get back into Pokemon Pearl to get at least the first 100 Pokemon, and Yoshi's Island.
Super Mario Bros. 3! It's so well designed... I recommend anyone making a platform game to play it. If you've already played it, play it again. And don't get an emulator and use the ever-tempting quick-save, it ruins everything!
Not playing much else, apart from the occasional Mirror's Edge and Cortex Command
I was dabbling in a few N64 games. Right now the only game I've really been playing is Megaman Battle Network 2. Even that I haven't played very much-- I've not been playing too many games lately.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, I love finding the new scenery people make for it on the internet, and having little "competitions" with Nick, although they're not really competitions we just do it for fun.
Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City (Although I have the biggest house now, so slowly going off it)
Proffesor Layton and the Curious Village on the DS.
Yes, it's not official, but some of it is pretty good. You can get things like proper supports, which make the coasters seem a bit more realistic rather than the built-in supports. You can also get particle effects and things.
If the game has a "Lighting that doesn't suck" anymore patch, I'm all for it. Until then, as long as my dark rides are always light with extremely bad bricky shadows, I'll pass.
Granted, the lighting isn't perfect by far, but if the ride and theming are nice enough I don't think that matters. Several mods have been made by users to allow for dark rides, I believe. Space-type rides can also be made using the mods:
I currently try to beat Hagane for the snes.
For thoses who don't know that game, it's a japan-exclusive, in wich you play a samurai robot.
If that isn't enough to make you run to get it, then maybe the fact that the combat engine is the best and the most complex I've seen on the console could make you get it, maybe just to get inspired for your own games. But really... Robot ninjas are the coolest thing ever! So it should be enough of a reason to get that gem wich we couldn't get our hands on before.
"Oh my yes! Hoping they port that to the DS or something"
And do what? let you build a park that's 50 squares by 50 squares with 3 types of coaster and a bunch of mindless scenarios? May aswell buy Themepark DS.
I used to dress entertainment staff as gorillas and put them in enclosures, pretending my parks had zoos. Zoo options were high on the top of many RCT2 wishlists, but they never came. Then they released animals in RCT3: Wild, but the animals just run around all over the place, no proper AI coding to them at all, they can't even go up slopes Still, it's the idea of riding on my own creations that I like.

Someone hasn't seen SimCity DS same as the PC version in terms of scale just, magically, on a handheld.
I would really be very surprised if the DS could handle that. It hasn't got the RAM to load all the graphics let alone power to run and process the game.
Yes it is a bit of a shame. My favourite DS game is Phoenix Wright which is more or less a port of the original, just with an extra level with DS gimmicks.

Oh my yes. Just gave them both a little run now, SC3K uses up 114mb ram and RC2 likes 40mb. Guess if they could shrink down SC3K that much? Could even make it a downloadable title for the DSi so it could use the extra CPU and Ram.
I wouldn't worry about the DS's ability to run it either

Beat them both. 'Cept you can't beat Animal Crossing, but yeah, got the biggest house. Now just to get the flag for my house, and once my bridge is finished (takes a week to build) I'll need to get a fountain and a lighthouse, get all the paintings, wait for spring so I can get more fish and bugs, become a Platinum Member at Nook's, get the hero's cap and clothes, become a VIP member at the bank, get all the fossils (only 4 more), get all the gyroids, and get all the golden and silver tools.

Quoted for truth.

Even more truth.

I would.
Metroid Prime Hunters: 50MB
RCT2 (basic version): 600 odd MB
Sim City 3K- 600mb I don't get your point. We're talking old games built for a specific platform, to honestly think they'd just 1:1 dump the PC version to the DS is laughable. Also: time to start taking light hearted comments about games we'd like thuper cereally?
In order to get it to work with 4mb Ram, a little ARM processor and a small storage chip, they would have to cut a lot of features out. In other words, dumb it down.
Currently playing Chrono Trigger DS, which is my first time playing Chrono Trigger. Not enjoying it very much, to be honest, but then I'm only a third of the way through. And good lord the text is small. Also, Phoenix Wright 3 and Mafia (PC).
As for klik/indie, nothing new. Just the ever-present Clean Asia and Marshmallow Corridor.
Fire Emblem (the first one) for the GBA, Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the DS, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction (always playing this game off and on), and the sporadic bouts of NES Bubble Bobble.

DXF Games, coming next: Hasslevania 2- This Space for Rent!
Was getting into my XBox 360 again lately, playing Guitar Hero, Fable II and Far Cry 2 alot. Then i received Street Fighter 4 Thursday and haven't been off it, i think i've played the single-player to death! However, just purchased a SEGA Dreamcast with 11 games, plus House of the Dead 2 and a light-gun, off eBay, so this week i'll be playing all those.
And Dwarf Fortress sometimes. The best games are free

im playing this older comp game called abomination the nemesis project. its so bad but good alot of good features but its missing some key features. im also playing guitar hero world tour alot.
I remember that game Abomination: The Nemesis Project. It was an isometric strategy game with some quite cool looking graphics but questionable gameplay; i remember it being so-so in terms of quality. How you getting on with it?
im stuck on a defense mission, i have to wait 4 minutes while they mop the floor with me. i do okay, but i always seem to run out of ammo, which is the killer.
Love Guitar Hero. I'm anxious to get it(I played it once at my friends house) mostly because some people have found a way to play their own songs; I've gotta figure that out.
I'm slam back into TF2 now. A bunch of us from a big server (600k users) split off to form our own composed of the "best" players. Currently (in sig) at rank 41 and trying to get at least into the top 20. I've got one of the highest kill/death ratios of the server but just need to throw hours into it to get my score up
I've played TF2 quite a bit but I can't seem to ever get into it. Maybe its just me but it seems a bit strange. I do play Counterstrike sometimes though.
I wish I could get into Counterstrike too used to play it on and off back in 2004 and recently bought it on Steam. But everyones much too better than me so it's no fun.
What's the point in playing a game if you only ever want to be one of the best? You've reached the ultimate goal by being the best and there's nothing else to achieve. Sometimes not being the best, and participating for the fun of it is what is known as good "sportsmanship"

You should play on the FGA server, people there are good but there never mean about it at all, its an easy way to learn how to play.
Originally Posted by RickyG You're right adam but no game is fun if you die all the time and don't get a single kill
Absolutely. I tried for months but all my local servers have loads of Germans on them, the only time I could ever do well was being on the terrorists team on that Assault map (the one with the warehouse). Guys are too damn good Also dont think my connections up for the really fast and precise games. We can only get a 1.5mbps here and thats shared with 4 others and I'm a mile from the wireless router :< Headshots are impossible. Probably why I play as Heavy, Pyro and Demoman in TF2
Rank 32 now wouldn't mind sitting at 20+.
And Quake Live? Meh. I'd probably have gone mad for that up until last year but then I got Quake 3 and Team Arena on Steam. Still probably play it though. Has it got rankings?
i hate when i used to play counterstrike, id be on a roll and feelin all special, then some kid signs on that has that auto aim crap (even tho punkbuster or whatever is on), then the game is no longer fun. or if i find out 10 minutes in that ive only been killing bots.
I still play CS 1.6 (god... I can't seem to shake it). I started about 8 years ago and STILL play it, mostly in scrimmages but occasionally competitively. I also play DOTA which is a Warcraft 3 use map settings map. Aside from that, I have a bunch but I'm not consistent with them. Quake Live sometimes (so I can get rolled) and the second Medieval Total War
Blood of the Ancient One, Seen only as Shadow, Faster than Lightning, Fierce as the Greatest Dragon, Nearly Invisible, Floating in a Dream, Entered through the Demon Door, Destroyer of Evil in a Realm with a Red Sky Scarred, Who could I be ?

Now that i've found my DS, i've been playing pokemon platinum and gta: chinatown wars. I also play CS source at times.

Playing Banjo Tooie for XBLA and comparing it to my N64 cause I'ma sad git.
Then I'm waiting for my Donkey Kong 64 to arrive so I can start with the tedious collecting. *drools*
Played Call of Duty 4 on x360 a couple of days ago but abandoned it (atleast for a while) after getting 1000/1000 GS... I tried the multiplayer but since everyone sucked there and I've already played it to death on pc I got bored. I'm now planning to move back to Fallout 3 on 360 as I haven't completed the main quest yet. And of course I got a bunch of other games (about 10) that are waiting to be finished.
On pc I'm now playing Cortex Command and occasionally Battlefield 2. It's still the best online-shooter up to date.
Btw, if anyone needs playing company on Counter Strike or CS:S just pm me...
I'm playing now all kinds of PS2 games I should've played already. Beat BG&E and Spider-Man 2 recently, thinking of what I should go for next, probaby Okami.
What draws me to the game (No pun intended) is it's awesome Japanese, cartoony art style. Plus the plotline is a Japanese Cliche, but still interesting.
Started playing X-Men Origins: Wolverine today! It's pretty good for a game based on a film.

Crash Bandicoot 1,2 and 3. The good ones. Lol how I missed back in those days where game where actually were a challenge. Still makes me lol to this day on whom composed the music. He he he.
I'll admit the 5th boss (Cortex) is a bit tricky with the jetpack, from what I remember I delivered the final blow just a fraction of a second before he escaped.
But N. Gin was pretty easy, just avoid the easily avoidable projectiles and shoot apples constantly.
Prinny Yes! I liked that too. Didn't hold my attention for long but yea it's a fantastic little gem. It's making me want to buy Disgaea but I've already got about 4 other RPGs to finish off.
I watched my cousins play Spyro years back--when video games were still mysterious and awesome, 3D ones especially. If I remember right, it was one of those games with a fantastic atmosphere. What I like about PS1 and N64 era games are that they're almost like their own little world.
Goin' through all my games on mah NES, SNES and MegaDrive (Genesis). Which would be something like......... Nah, I can't bother makin' a list.
But other than the old console-classics I'm currently playing Counterstrike (yeayea...), Soldat (www.soldat.pl) and waiting for Diablo 3 and SC2.. (You think it'll ever come out? )
