Once upon a time there was a place called Iklik-it.com and myself, Ashman, Buster, Hayo, Jenswa, Steve and some others used to hang out on there. Ashman was fairly normal back then.
Then we all came to the Daily Click when it closed. One day there was a thread about girls (started by JonWoG I think). Somebody said something, Ashman replied and somebody replied "lol classic ashman", and a legend was born after (I think it was Hamish and Pod) did an MP3 containing the "voices" of every thread contributor.
The musical MP3 Rikus referenced (that is from the second girly thread if memory serves me, and not the original "lol classic ashman" thread).
I sounded like an old English colonel or something in the original MP3 . We need to find the original MP3 and preserve it forever!

we should locate the mp3 file... in the internet, burn it into a golden blu-ray disc... made of pure gold!... and delete every other copy of this mp3 file.
Yep, dcgirlpost.mp3 is supposed to be a dramatic reading of a thread called 'are there any other female klikkers out there?'.
I had it uploaded but I replaced the file with 'Jazz Delicious Hot Disgusting Cold' by the Bonzo Dog Band when people started linking to it. Just to make the world a bit more interesting.
Unfortunately this means I don't have the original now...

I think the key to balancing out the gender ratio is to introduce more games and subject matter that appeal to female gamers. From my experience, there's really no clearly defined way to do it other than by hanging out with girls and getting used to their interests.
