Oldy here, I first saw klik & play demo bundled with sim city 2000 at a friends house and wished I had a computer of my own to get it. A year or two later I finally got one and saved up right away to get klik & play from europress. I was about 16 then, I'll be 30 next month. I remember being blown away by Future Fantasy and having fun with QWERTY. I released RoDney but it was never very popular, nor was I.
I also remember the klik and play message board on AOL, Silkys etc. Those were the days.

Haha, no problem. Hope it's as good as you remember it! Actually does anyone have a folder full of those old 2-bit (Gamebot-style) games b any chance? I only kept a few - Slimeball, Rex (Nash's game) and Mark Pay's Bubble Rubble Wubble Bounce or whatever it was called.

Rodney was the first klik game I played and I thought it was awesome!

I'm an oldie too!
I was never a big part of the community, just kind of always there. I started using Klik products about 12 years ago, so around the same time as you other old guys. Hence my nickname, KNPdude.
Great to see some of the old guys still around. Personally I am going to stick around now because after doing some personality tests, it looks like I'm very well suited for doing creative work like making video games so I'm going to stick to it. Considering an exporter for Android devices is coming I am definitely waiting around for that (extra residual income, anyone?)! Of course I still can't kick my copy of Klik & Play - I never use it but it's fun to open once in a while for nostalgic purposes. Ahh gotta love the feel of those old Klik games..

I've been knocking around since 2001 although I didn't officially create my account untill late 2002. I remember buying a copy of the original games Factory in a shop called Electronic Boutique which is now part of the Game group.
TGF came in what I can only describe as a board game like box with a huge manual, I'd also just purchased my first computer at the time with my parents so I figured I'd use the rest of my birthday & Christmas money to buy a copy of Theme Park, Command & Conquer Red Alert, Championship Manager & Dungeon keeper from the store also. (I remember being so excited  ). So anyway being new to computers I had no idea what I was doing with the Games Factory and contacted Click team direct for extra support. I was emailed back by Jeff who advised me to visit a little site called the Daily Click where I could find a whole community of click builders. Although Its only been recent years where I've become more active.
Interestingly enough I'd never heard of Klick & Play until Jess Bowers mentioned it in Klikcast episode once 
I guess I'm not old school but I've been around for a decade. 
Wow the last 10 years have gone so quick!

I'm gonna try and get more involved with the site & community this year. I'd also like to finish my first full game which is now getting pretty close to completion.
