Hi there folks, thanks to Mark we got an official moo server for the upcoming dc-chat..there is however 1 problem, we need someone to code it for us... So if you know your "moo" and you want to make for all the dc users out there a special dc-chat program then reply here or give me a dc-mail. The prices are of course world wide dc fame, a custom rating to your liking and all the thanks from everyone out there. So who wants to help us out. I don't know if its possible but we could even make a little world where dc users can login and you can see eachother's little person as you talk to eachother? And walk around maybe visit the dc-bar for a nice drink or visit some other places, i know its possible but i have no idea how to do it I could help out.
Or we could just make a standerd chat application thingie like irc.. but the above sounds cool, does not have to be graphic heavy so it will stay fast. What do you think?

Ok folks the project is under way. Now we will need someone that can make some gfx for us, like some character graphics people can choose from. Maybe some backgrounds to, your normal rpg graphic stuff Who is willing to help us out, of course you will be rewarded by dc-points and a new rating for your time, and of course a special character in the new dc-chat game, OH YEA

Well, im not excellent at graphics, but i culd send you an example or some graphics ive been doing (guy in a hat, fat guy, 'invisible' guy, and a guy im using in a game. Thie invisible guy is basically a template I made, so i can easily create new people.)

I could help with the coding. I know MOO2 very well, I just need a reliable server to link it to, & one everyone will be on.
If we had a good server, I would be able to code the entire thing.
we have a good server.. it's not moo unfortunatly, i couldn't find my old moogame so i made my own UDP server in VB instead
at this point, we're feature complete with a text-only chat

Since when can you walk around in IRC with an Avatar? I think this is a good project. Maybe if there are stats we can put Chris's sarcasm and stupidity skills up, not that they need to go up very much.

I could help alot with the moo coding, my experiance: mmorpg in progress, various chat programs made for people. I can use an engine i already have to make it so we can walk around in a DC world, with a cafe and houses and stuf .
If this was Top Trumps you'd never choose those stat types again.

I don't think the idea is finallized in any way yet, but for those who don't know what an rpg-style chat is check www.dubit.co.uk it's in flash but you get the idea.
Thanks for all the help folks. Aali, is helping out with the coding and Podge is doing the graphics now so everything is going really well, i'll keep you all posted on whats going on and if we need any more help it is apriciated.

Wtf this is such an awesome idea... in addition to the chat areas there could be minigames and stuff you can play with friends. Also maybe people could submit their own custom avatars? I might be able to help out too, I'm not a very good coder, but I can do graphics and music. If anyone needs to contact me, my MSN Messenger is bow_before_bricko@hotmail.com.
If any one else wants to help with the graphics (characters and accessories etc.) just DC Mail me, or contact me on messenger (see somewhere above, or look in profile) because there's still quite a few things left to do.
So far there is 15 people (well, 14. But im not stopping anyone using the white guy) and a few objects, such as plants tables and chairs. Also there's a wierd bushy thing...
Normally im online at around 7:00 pm (GMT) so, obviously it will be hard for me to cantact you if you live somewhere like America, or Australia, unless you feel like going online very early in the morning.
