The idea came from a french website I just visited, atleast I think it was french . Anyway, the banner said klik here\/, so I though klik is a clickteam thing, but clickteam is most french, so maybe thats were the word klik became a big part of Clickteam. Kliking standing for non other then Clicking, & where do we do are 'clicking'? Clickteam programs!
According to my CD it's actually 'Klik & Play' which changes it somewhat. Click & Play isn't so effective, but it would be more acceptable as Click and Play.

FYI: The Games Factory was released in December '94 in the UK (I know, I have a CD with the demo on it, and I got it for Christmas soon after) - it quite surprises me that K&P came out in Nov 94 in the US. (Well, maybe 6 months earlier at least)
It had an old guy telling us how easy it was to write games and showing us the C code needed to create the K&P window (oh, that source was scary! SCARY I TELL YOU!)
"It had an old guy telling us how easy it was to write games and showing us the C code needed to create the K&P window (oh, that source was scary! SCARY I TELL YOU!)" Yeah and he was bragging and saying he was going to show you how to do heaps of stuff and ended up only showing you about a quater of what was prommised. Oh and I got Klik and Play for $10.
I got K&P for about RM 10 from an old computer shop that couldn't sell the thing .
Yeah, I remember the old guy. He inspired me to be what I am today. A klik legend!
Well, maybe not. But he inspired me to push KNP to the very limit. I used to make RTS games with KNP with a friend's help and program some semi intelligent AI that actually dodged bullets and took cover .
