I like nintendo personally, especially for Castlevania. Id have to say that if they made a 3 stooges video game, i would definately try it. It would be like Mortal Kombat but with Curly, Moe, and the other guy. Doesnt that sound interesting? Curly given the "COME OVER HERE" attack from scorpion would be hilarious!
Games currently in "the works":
Moonrise
My Fantasy (dieing dream)
Shadowed Sunset (this one will be cool)
Dragon Riders (Newer, better animated, cooler, and less gradient version!)

As a Nintendo fan, I'd say that Nintendo is evil. But Sega wanted to be evil, Microsoft is just as evil, and Sony is even more evil. That doesn't give me very good choices.
Nintendo
Pros:
Shigeru Miyamoto
Almost invented the Internet (Nintendo network actually. Nintendo was planning to sell floppy disk drives, allow kids to download games through the phone line and put them on floppy disk to play online with other kids. Creates high phone bill. This was all in 1989)
Only good 1st party developer
More games very good and above.
Cheapest
Most bent on quality control
Created the revolutionary "Laser Clay" laser operated clay pigeon shooting system in the 60's
Most resilient (survived longest) of the three.
Disks fit in pocket
Most Travel-Enabled
Cons:
Most inexperienced president
Least games
Not good online
Least power
Least game size
Disks hard to carry in traditional CD case.
Cut off supply to stores that discounted games or systems by even as little as 6 cents.
I say that the pros far outway the cons. Gamecube has enough very good games that I don't need to settle for good games.
Darmani the strong, Darmani the brave, Darmani the.......................idiot who fell off a cliff!
You guys obviously are casual gamers. At least a lot of people on this topic. Do you know the difference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd party developers? The fact that Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft only give the 3rd party developers permission to put games on their consoles?
Oh yeah, The Three Stooges game is VERY old. Like Amiga old.
By the way, Gamecube is my choice. I have like, 38 games for it, plus the Game Boy Player, thats another 37 right there. Not to mention its very portable, I dont care for the lack of DVD functions, I already have like 2 or 3 of them. CDs? A CD player is like $20 or something.
Oh, Nintendo has an eye toy of their own. The *Ahem* Game Boy Camera
aw man dont mention GB Camera i saved loads of pics during a holiday years ago but my brother drew over them
anyways forgetting the new consoles; my all time fave is probably the Amiga. Probably for no reason other than i had one when i was 4 and still use it to this date 14 years later.
My xbox (chipped) has an excellent DVD player built into a new dashboard and CD player? PC did all that back in 92
ive been playing ninty games since someone in my family bought a nes... well a little after as i was about 2 at the time, i was raised on the nes and master system, and an atari. i always prefered mario to sonic, but thats cos i prefer platform to action. ive had every console since, cept the visual boy (baned here for its headache inducing screen) and the gb colour cos i didnt have any money for its duration. Ihave got about 20 games on each but 25 on my gc. i admit that some games are worsebut that always happens, and i dont know anyone who has made only good games for the entire duration of their life. i know i havent.
i tend not to say bad things about the ps2, cept i dont like the controler nearly as much as the gc one. this is cos i like the ps2, its got good hardware and i like the games that are on there. but there are no 1st party ones are there?
i dont really like the xbox mainly cos i have only played on one a few times but was disapointed each time. not much to base it on but still.
and like everyone else says, there are those crappy 3rd party games on every console, bt they have always been there and why? cos they sell.
Vive ninty, *applause*
btw: they invented the following: D-pad, analogue sticks, shoulder buttons rumble packs, the platform game genre, inter console connectivity, that cool phoneline game download (on the jap nes). consoles with disks, they helped square continue to exist (where do you think FF1-6 plus FFA FFL1-3 and loads of others were fools!) and of course who can forget (if they remember) R.O.B. The robot?
Twas brillig, and the slivey toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe,
All mimsy were the borogroves,
And the momewraths outgrabe.
yea they invented a lot of things (which i already said ) they also had a satellite game download thing for the SNES back in 93... technically speaking Sony and Microsoft are just copying Nintendo. they also invented the first 3D adventure game (Mario 64)
