If it's just for yourself there's something in 'folder options' assuming you're using windows. For your users, it involves registry-messing-around-with so you're probably best to do it in the installer. Ask first though. For the second question, yes for you, yes in theory for other users although I wouldn't know how off the top of my head. n/a

I don't know if there is an registry editor extension, but if there is, you could do the same. Just open regedit and look into HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, it has a key with an extesion and a filehandler for the extension. If you have winzip installed, take a look at your ".zip" extension. Just follow everything that has to do with winzip, it's pretty self explaining. jenswa.neocities.org
