I didn't even think about MSD when writing that.
I want a competition, it doesn't have to have a prize.
How about bringing back that 2bit craze, as a competition.
Would be cool with another competition, a mini-one at least. But with that I don't mean a 48 hour one. A longer one that can bring us some quality games as well that you can't beat in 2 minutes.
Would be really fun to be one of the judges, even though it means I can't enter the compo myself.
Anyone interested in arranging something?
I think theres no more reason to do the overexperienced celebration theme.
I suggest to make something more related to games or fictional enviroments, or even gameplay genres if the goal isnt to create a new one, wich does not seem since 80% of all games are just themed platformer.

It's regrettable that TDC is the arsehole of the click scene, but somewhere has to be.
You're right. My first though was an easter comp. But on second thought, that wasn't a great idea. How about a contest making a game in a genre that isn't that common. Like an adventure game or an RPG? Of course those genres are a bit harder to make. And platformers should be strictly forbidden they are just too common. An anti-platform contest maybe?
I would love to arrange the whole thing, I have waaay to much free time on my hands. Would be nice with at least 2 or 3 more judges that can give honest opinions. Of course this means you can't enter the contest yourself. Is anyone interested?
Or should we just drop this whole new contest thing?
