Although i have been a member of "Ther Daily Click" for a year now (even more) i just find that games are no fun anymore.
In the past there was mixes of good games, newbie games and average games. Now it is basiclly good game after good game after good game.
We all like great games like Eternnal Daughter but we need a mix of all sort of games good and bad.
This is because people have learned (like me for example) since they first joined.
Are good games coming out of hand?

Well, I don't know - I find that I don't really care that much about most commercial games any more (with the exception of Soul Calibur II, of course). Remember when Commander Keen was the best thing ever?
I've no doubt that we'll soon get another Butterfly 660, or something. Yes, I know that not everyone's a fan of it, but it's one of the best I've played - decent storyline, impressive programming, what more do you want?

I don't think lots of good games is a bad thing, surely it's more fun. But for me who isn't that good it does put me down to see the skillfull stuff people churn out that is way better than my games. But I get over it.

I also think its a shame how klik groups have to try and go all professional on us all. I'm guilty myself of that cardinal sin, and yes, it seems klik games aren't as fun as they used to be.
When I first joined the community, Gunner 3 was about to be released, and when I downloaded it I thought it was amazing. Ever since then it seems that everyones been trying to match the professionalism of that game. Even Eternal Daughter. I have to conclude though that the most fun klik game Ive played in the last year is probably Astrospoon, and..well Im getting off topic a bit I guess. But yes, the quality is waning.

Actually, I think most game on the Daily Click are still really bad. More good games are getting released than before, but most of them are still pretty bad. Why are you saying that you want more bad games? That makes no sense to me at all.......
99 percent chance that the above post is 100 percent correct.

well... there still is a lot of crap on this site. i think that a decent game, like Butterfly 660 (brilliant game) or Entrance Gate, will pop up soon enough, and raise the bar a little higher. i still enjoy playing some of the games here. it's just the extra special ones are few and far between, which is a good thing, because it keeps us all in suspense.

Pulling two names off the top of my head (no idea who stuck them there), I'd say that Spram and Ashman are two of the most consistently good game authors on the site.

I just played a bit of that new game Furballs by Spram, it's great fun! I hardly ever play many games these days, but this was great. Reminded me very much of the Commander Keen games, Keen 4 more than anything. Recommend you give that try if you can spare the download time.

Picture it like this: There's alot of leaves on a tree and some are good and some are bad and crappyly brown (unless you like them) and TDC picks a few leaves at random every week. Then you get some good leaves some ok leaves and occasianlay the amazing leaf that is really shiny and green.
Does that settle things? Anyway, i know there are alot of great engines or half finished games. Many people don't finish them because they are too lazy or they don't find them fun anymore because they have been working on them for so long. BUT, they are still fun to every1 else. So it takes time for someone to actually be bothered to finish a game here at TDC. Give it time and maybe the creators of good games a bit of a inspiration push.
