Don't speak to me like that, you jackass! I have a mullet!!!
Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.

Btw, Karnage I didn't call half those admin nazis ever! Pete is the main offender and if I'm not mistaken but I'm sure there are plenty of friends, mums, sisters that were killed by american soldiers or british soldiers in Germany as well. We said Nazis not killers, not all nazis are killers they just like to go 'Achtung' and dominate the world...

Pete and Circy I think you overreact a bit. Flaws post do not seem agressive to me. Its more his own oppinion of what the situation is, and then hes truely offering his help.
On a more general note I find it strange thats TDC admins holds a very conservative oppinion to anything that smells remotely like a change to the TDC site.
I know you propably spend considerable time here and try to do your best. I am grateful for that. However one should never discard a suggestion right off. At least read it and evaluate its value. Would it bring something to the community? Would it help the member? The admins? If you are not the ones to do something about it ... why not bring it to the right person? Surely not all know that Clubsoft is the person to ask.
If the amount of work is too big simply recruit more admins ... it really IS as simple as that.
Clubsoft. I think you should make a thread asking members what they would like to change. Then use that as inspiration when you decide what the "new" TDC should look/be like.
If you knew, I would have to kill you...

I think Flaw has a good idea, and half of you guys are shooting it down without a second thought. Even you Pete Natress, in your first post you struck out viciously, hell the way Flaw sounds he looks as if he has got shit together unlike half of the admins here in DC. His ideas would make this awesome site even more awesome, but you guys of course get sidetracked. Anyway I just think you guys shouldn't dismiss this in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the support.
What I have to say to those who prefer to shoot down the ideas posted here is this:
This site is kept afloat by community submittions, community interaction, and community donations. ShadowCaster neither pays for nor does he own any part of this website. The site is registered under Rikus Kras' name and payed for with dontations taken from Rikus' personal Paypal account. If the community pays for a site and keeps it alive then shouldn't they have some sort of a say of how that site should be run? When Rikus was head admin he recongized this and appointed people to work on TDC that he thought would help keep it alive for newer generations of klikkers. I may have only visited this site on a weekly basis or so from school computers at the time but now that I am a registered member (as of last month) I have started to realize how great things were before Rikus hung up his administrative belt. Changes were slow but consistiant on the site. If something was wrong Rikus made sure it was fixed. Now as the needs of the community grow there isn't a headadmin around to make sure things get done.
I simply suggested a small list of fixes that would not only make the site easier to navigate but I also added in suggestions to help admins keep the site clean and in working order. The ability for users to be able to Report Broken Links, Games posted in Incorrect Categories, and Released Previews would releave admins of the heavy weight of moderatng and searching. The other day I received a DC mail that said the following:
"First time I saw this topic [TDC Needs Serious Help] 7/1/2004 and I was really shocked about the admins' and others' answers. I couldn't believe they didn't understand that you offered them your help. You saw many TDC's problems and gave good examples to solve them. You're really right. Admins of this site (how many there's them? 4? 5? 6?) are only telling that they haven't got any free time, because they spend it no TDC."
He went on to introduce:
"I'm admin of one of the polish community's website "Fabryka Gier" about klik and I decided to write a report about your topic on my site."
You can find said article here: http://click-games.net/fg/scena/6.html
I can't read Polish but I'm sure someone can find a translator.

Oh... I hope TDC admins won't be angry if I refresh this topic.
I'd like to ask admins how are the changes going? I saw some of them (grades for article wasn't here, was it?).
Well, I think ShadowCaster's coming back to say something about rules made this topic a little too old :|
If someone is interested about translation of that article, which Flaw wrote down here, mail me (to make sure I should make it EN-languaged)! But know that was wrote 8 I 2004 (before going to change anything by the admins)
