its funny that Sony's biggest rival in the handheld market will be a spin off handheld machine from Nintendo. they still have the GBA2 coming out, and if stats (like Chicken) are your game then why dont you just buy that cuz it will be much faster

BUT smart people dont think like that. smart people dont want a half-assed platformer which came out on the GC over a year ago (Viewtifull Joe, though it was fun there isnt much too it).

dont forget, Sega was a competitor in the handheld market years ago. just like Sony is today, its an incredibly popular company with a statistically superior system. in the blue corner the GB sat there playing Mario Land 1 and 2 with a few rounds of Tetris but still it won. You may say the battery life is good at 8 hours max but the Gamegear had just a few hours battery life too (around 4-6 hours) which paled compared to the 14 hour GB. it smells like history is going to repeat itself, if not, nevermind! GBA2 is coming!

also i hate the disc idea, when i had a minidisc player i only carried around 5 MD's at a time because of thier size, GBA carts are half the size of them and 4 years older than UMD! and can take a huge battering. Also CD's do degrade over time, my MD in thier protected cases are wearing out after 4 years, spots are appearing on the recording layer, same goes for PC-CD's, DVD's etc...

I would not be suprised seeing a 256mbyte DS cart coming out containing Ocarina of Time, or something similar. Widely regarded as the greatest game of all time

but as ive said before, time will tell. i just find it quite funny that some die hard Sony fanboy mates of mine were converted with the GBA SP and now think the PSP is going to flop.

another thing which i think shows a typical but incredible nintendo cliche, is that they are really putting things which have never before been seen in such a device. voice recognition, touch screen, DUAL screen! wifi, etc. nintendo wont talk about such things with stats and stuff they will just give the package. its technology for people who couldnt care less.
i dont want to buy a PSP and then buy a load of addons just to make it equal to a DS, Sony are notorious for expensive accessories, even the stand alone product! it adds to cost, weight and size rather than it all being in one package.

ok its all out of my system now...

*Laughs at chicken* you just keep making up that info pal...

After seeing your blatent plagiarism of IGN.com I can now fully say that you are as misinformed as IGN. More thought needs to go into the game design, IF the developer feels that they want to use the extra features. If you don't want to use the mike then you don't have to.

Your "ports" comment was probably one of the stupidest things I've seen all day, thanks for laugh. A port IS reworking the engine code, or sometimes building a new engine for an old game. If you don't want to use the 2nd screen it's not written in stone that you have to, but it IS there.

I never said that sony got rid of the Wi-Fi completely, it's now an ADD-ON card. If you look, you'll see that the Psp has a small PCcard like slot on the side.
Note that Viewtiful Joe was a 3d game given a sidescrolling camera view.

I have a grudge against them, They stole Some news from me that I painstakingly ran through a translator to get. And They have been wrong many, many times in the past. They just cover those mistakes up later.

It was for the Tales of Symphonia
I got into Konami of Japans financial report and translated it, but I got the subtitle of the game wrong. In fact, IGN got their's wrong in the same exact way about 2 days later.
