Yes, it's another widget! I really made it just as an experiment to try and see what's possible.
It's basically an all-in-one tile based level editor and loader.
The only additional object required is an edit box to allow saving/loading of external files. The map data itself is stored in one of the widget's alterable strings.
You can import your own tilesets (up to 96 tiles each; any dimensions), and because everything is contained in the widget, you only need do it once - not once for the editor and then again for the loader.
It doesn't support actives (yet?), but does allow you to define tiles as normal, obstacles, platforms, or ladders.
For anyone who's seen this on the clickteam forums, this is a new version with a couple of improvements.
If you were actually to use this, I would suggest *not* saving the map as a text file, as that way you'd need an additional file to hold the positions of actives, dialog text, other settings, etc. Instead, use an ini to hold all of those things, and store the map data as a string inside that same ini file.
