AGwaK Adventures v1.0 RC
Huh?! Wha? RC?
Yes!! It means it basically is done, complete and tested but I may have missed a small little something.
I want to know about some Technical Nonsense please!
You nerd! Go shave your neckbeard. It cannot compete against mine so you might as well. Anyway, here you go:
-It is point and click and in 3rd person
-Made in Flash with Vectors and stuff
-Over 20 rooms
-Over 6 very bleepy but original songs
-There's a pixelly retro graphics mode
-It has only one save slot (but the game is short so who cares, right?)
-Can run on mobiles if I get around to make such a version (it's always such a bother...!)
-Plays and looks like some silly old adventure from the 90s
-Support for other platforms will follow through Adobe AIR
Tell me more about this game!
Sure thing. So this is an adventure game featuring Kittey and Herbert who is a pond hippo from space. Together, they face horrible monsters, witches and robots and also have to save Kitty Island from exploding right under their butts. Quite a task for the two chubbies! Can they do it?!
Gameplay!
Ever played an older 3rd person point and click adventure game? Yes? Then you'll be just fine. Dive right in!
The 4 action cursors WALK LOOK TALK USE can be selected on the right UI bar or by using the mousewheel.
Hotspots are labeled, so you always know if something can be clicked. Pixel hunting has been reduced to a minimum.
The bag icon at the top left is the inventory. Use the normal cursor to select an item. The USE icon triggers a use action on the item and does not select it.
There are dialog options. Just pick whatever your little guy is supposed to say. But be nice to strangers okay!!
What else?
Happy playings!
