I am fairly sure that the transparency ink effect is still available for use with the TGF1 toolset; it was mentioned somewhere.

Transparency ok, but I'd still like to know if the active editor was the same as MMF, ie. alpha channel editing.

Fanotherpg mentioned in an earlier message, when asked about alpha channels: "...only semi-transparency [and no alpha channels]...".

"* Try to be efficient with alterable values as possible. No one is going to be strict about this, but try to keep in the spirit of TGF era game making."
I have game vars that exceed 16 globals and 3 per active. What is the leeway here? I can always make a whole bunch of actives with 3 variables each to be used as game vars but this seems extremely unnecessary. How about 8 per active and 32 globals? Is this reasonable?

Destruction Carnival? That was made with KNP and it's still a hard act to follow. Basically, you don't need an orchestra to make good music - you just have to take a different approach.

Not to single out SolarB, but I think a fresh approach is the next best step, not attempting to create exceptions to the rules.

I am happy to see people considering how good Destruction Carnival is, yet it is made in KNP
Do not worry about what your doing SolarB.
In regard to some questions asked:
* We have decided on a 50 megabyte limit - this should be plenty!
* Only one entry per competitor
* As prizes will be going to individuals, it makes sense for people to take part on their own.

Any chance of making an exception for using sine and cosine? Pretty sure I used those with TGF in some way.

@s-m-r: No probs, but If I was using TGF I would probably be pushing it's limits in any way possible. If you need more alts you need more alts!
