Awesome .
Looking good Andy and Akai .
Renaming AV's is fine. Does make things easier on the brain...
I am actually going to make a game in TGF just for fun (not fair for a judge to enter is it really ), I started on some graphics last night.
Game will hopefully be like the Bonanza Bros, but the Hagar Bros. The summer is approaching and a barrage of environmentalists have taken over numerous establishments, smoking herbal supplements and listening to hippy music.
This stops the good folk of the town from getting there summer groceries (ice creams, pork pies et al). So the Hagar Bros are called in to deal with them. After experimentation it is found that boom boxes playing "Slayer" can be used as hippy grenades and compressed air propelled rubber bullets momentarily stun them.
I am also pondering a trap (think ghostbusters) where a lid opens revealing a selection of humous and cous cous based salads. The hippies will gravitate towards this vegetarian friendly food source only to be trapped by a pair of hand cuffs!

Now there's a hilarious plot, if I ever saw one.
Had some questions of my own though.
Is there any rules against cursewords and things of that immature nature? I like me some o' dat profanity.
Also, I see Draq also asked this but don't see a answer to it, but can you have .ogg files in it? Wouldn't want midis or mp3s piling up towards the size limit, how unlikely it might be.
EDIT: Since it's prefered the submissions are soloprojects I was wondering if it was okay if another guy than the coder could make the music? Since we're all coders here and not everyone(Specially me) don't know how to make music.
When I 've got tgf from Computer magazine, I needed 2 day to find level editor. No internet and tutorials and minimum 200mb of game weight- this is tgf spirit for me... . I've make music always in wav(not mid), but this format is uncompressed. Ogg make it possible to me to keep the tgf spirit, when i create over 100MB music library to my game.
Sorry gents, been very busy lately setting up a company as a spinout from my research. Time is more on my sides now .
@ Deaval : Try to keep it clean (nothing adult), butvimmaturity is ok - like farting and stuff (I still find fart jokes hilarious).
If your music guy does not mind the possibility of you getting a prize and he does not - go for it. It's recommended as the prize(s) will go to singular winners.
I think it's best to stick to midi for now, as some people may already have done/aquired such music.
Eduardin: as Andy says, upload it somewhere, submit it as a download and let me know .
Midi is what should be used. One person I have had contact me has already had some music made or brought it. I am more interested in people finishing games than fretting about every particular aspect of tgf.
As i keep re-iterating the rules will not be enforced with an iron fist. I may give a small percentage of the presentation marks (say 10% total) to TGF spirit.
