Everything is going well, thanks. My girlfriend and I are packing up to move eight hours away at the end of September. We're excited about starting our new life in Nashville, Tennessee.
Meanwhile...We all have day jobs and/or other commitments, and quite possibly family obligations as well. We're doing our best to fit judging in during our free time. Please be patient.

I'm sure the competition would be somewhat farcial if we just quickly played each game and gave it a quick score to appease those who want their results as quickly as possible.
You guys have put the effort in with the game making, now we're putting the effort in with the judging, and naturally juggling this between other commitments is time consuming. So basically... what SMR said.

I'm wondering if it's too soon to start a new small competition? Could always pass the time whilst THIS competition is being judged lol.
Ive had an idea that I feel is quite interesting but not sure if others will feel the same.

I'm always up for a new compo, andy I'd be interested in seeing what yours is about.
If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.

Anyways my ideas were either
A new console/computer wars competition only everyone defines their own limitations within a range.
or something i was messing about with recently, how it would be interesting if games that didn't get released on a certain console were converted. It could be a game released on what would be then a dead format (Final fantasy 7 on a Zx spectrum) or just a game that wasn't actually released on something (Sonic the hedgehog on an Atari st).
I did a mock up of Alex kidd in miracle world as it would look on an Amstrad cpc.
